Coach Lapointe finished his collegiate playing career at Quinnipiac University.  Travis is the lead Camp Trainer and will coordinate, organize and participate in all daily camp activities as he interacts with the campers.

Summer Camp Overview:

This high energy baseball camp is designed for players between the ages of 8-12 (AAU age). Exceptions may be granted, contact madisontravelbaseball@gmail.com for more information.  The days will be filled with non-stop baseball action designed to keep the players moving, learning and having fun.  Each day will include specific baseball drills run by Coach LaPointe and his staff to help develop the proper baseball fundamentals in all facets of the game.  In addition, there are fun contests for hitting and fielding skills, as well as live action scrimmage games as we divide the players into multiple teams for friendly games.

Baseball Fundamentals:

Coach LaPointe's Camp will provide instruction and multiple repetitions in Hitting, Pitching, Throwing, Outfield & Infield Defense and Base Running.  Coach LaPointe will be assisted by Daniel Hand High School standouts Anthony Depino (current starter at the University of Rhode Island) and Danny Carbone, former pitcher at Central Connecticut State University.   Contests and scrimmages are typically done each day, ensuring the players get excited and stay motivated.
