Touch'em All

Annual Toy Drive -- The Yale Toy Closet Program

On December 10th 2015, Madison Travel Baseball collected toys to help support the The Yale Toy Closet Program, an organization started in 1993 by Madison resident Ann Nyberg.

This incredible organization has helped put smiles on the faces of thousand of kids over the years by providing toys to those who are in the hospital in need of medical care.

As part of MTB's Mission, we strive to support our local community while also helping to build young men of good character.  This toy drive offers your boys a way to give back to their local community by spending a few dollars of their own money to help those who could use their spirits lifted.  Let's all do our best to hit it out of the park for the Yale Toy Closet Program.

Car Wash Fundraiser

Dear Tiger Baseball Community -

I am very pleased to report that our Car Wash Fundraiser was a great success!  Our Program raised $1,824.00 through the efforts of our players who washed cars and collected donations.

As important, we will be donating a portion of our proceeds to charity.  The Smilow Cancer Center at Yale New Haven Hospital & The Madison Food Pantry will each receive a check for $230.00.  That's like winning a doubleheader!

I'd like to specifically thank Michael McGivern & Joanie Reiner who were both instrumental in putting this fundraiser together.  In addition, thanks to all the Players, Coaches and Parents who helped out on Sunday...and to all those in in our Community who made a donation to help support our Program.

Regards,

Ken Carone - President, Madison Travel Baseball

Annual Car Wash Fundraising Event

It’s time for everyone to “pitch in” to help with our Car Wash Event that will be held Sunday, 8/23, at the Sunoco Gas Station on Rt. 1 in Madison.  We really need everyone’s help to ensure we have a successful fundraiser for both our Program and two special organizations.

Part of the Mission of MTB is to help build young men of strong character who are community and charitably focused.  As such, we have created our “Touch’em All” campaign offering our players an avenue to help support and raise money for great causes.  To this end, MTB will donate 25% of all proceeds from the car wash directly to the Smilow Cancer Center and the Madison Food Pantry

Please do your very best to help during your assigned time as we need all the help we can get from our Players.

This should be a great event and lots of fun for our Players as they work together to support their local community.  Thank you for all your support.
